SUP Yoga

Uniting Stand Up Paddleboarding and Yoga (SUP Yoga) allows for a really special experience out on the water. SUP Yoga is a great way to calm the body and mind, improve balance and core strength, and be in unison with nature.

In order to reserve your spot you MUST sign up online (use code BYOB for 10$ off if you have your own equipment) or email if you plan to pay in cash.

*For classes there is a 2 person minimum and an 8 person maximum so PLEASE sign up online in advance!*

Group classes are held weekly at Mirror Lake in Devens MA 

  • Wednesday from 10:00-11:15am
  • Thursday from 5:00-6:15pm
  • Saturday 10:00-11:15am

Classes are $40.00 and include:

  • Stand up paddleboard and paddle
  • Coast Guard approved PFD
  • Anchoring system
  • Basic paddling instruction
  • Paddle to and from a calm destination
  • Guided SUP Yoga class

**If you would like to buy a 5 class pass the price is $150.**


Other Frequently Asked Questions.

I have never paddleboarded or done yoga in my life, will I be able to do a class?

YES! These classes are designed for people of all ages and abilities even if you have never stepped on a paddleboard or yoga mat in your life. Classes begin with instruction on how to paddle, where to stand on the board and lots of other tips to make the experience awesome. Once we hit the water we paddle out together, drop anchor and the yoga portion of class includes poses that are modified to do safely on a paddleboard, with options for all levels! However, if you have specific concerns please email me and we can chat more in depth!

 

What should I wear?

Wearing clothes that dry quickly and are easy to move in are key to having the best experience. Bathing suits are often not the best things to wear unless they are designed for activity and stay in place very well. Cotton is also not a good choice since if you do get it wet it takes a long time to dry. 

 

Will I get wet?

As with any activity in or near water there is always the chance of falling in and you will get a little wet when you launch and return to shore. Falling in happens less than you would think as poses are designed to be done on paddleboards but if you do fall in the boards are soft and you are very unlikely to get injured, plus it’s quite refreshing!

 

I have my own paddleboard can I use it, is the price the same? 

If you have your own paddleboard and anchor you are absolutely welcome to bring and use it. Our boards are designed specifically for yoga so the pad is larger and longer to accommodate yoga poses but if you feel as though your board is equip please feel free to use it. When you sign up just let me know you will be bringing your own board and you will only be charged $30.00
